Hyundai i20 and i30 win 'Best Buy' categories at the What Car? Awards
We are very pleased to announce that the new Hyundai i20 1.2 Comfort 5 door and the i30 1.4 Comfort 5 door have both won 'Best Buy' category at the 2009 What Car? Awards which took place in London on January 22nd 2009.
It's a fantastic start of the year for the i20. The i20 1.2 Comfort 5-door was named Best Buy between £8,000 and £10,000. The judges said; 'Our money would go on Hyundai's new i20 1.2 Comfort. Few have as much equipment or are as cheap to run. Hyundai's little cracker represents an awful lot of car for the money.'
The i30 1.4 Comfort 5-door has won the category for Best Buy under £12,000. What Car? said the criteria they were looking for was 'a car to excel at everything from family holidays to daily commutes, that's affordable to buy and own, and gives the driver some fun.' The What Car? judges added; 'The i30 combines a supple ride with secure handling and undercuts most mainstream rivals on price, making it terrific value.'
